How to contact Financial Support Systems about your IVA

Financial Support Systems keeps its existing IVA customer line apart from the numbers it gives for new enquiries, so use the routes below for an arrangement you already have.

Getting your Financial Support Systems completion certificate

Financial Support Systems says that when an IVA ends successfully, its Supervisory Team prepares instructions confirming to creditors that the arrangement has 'completed successfully', and the unsecured debts left in the IVA are written off. If you are waiting for confirmation, email cs@financialsupportsystems.co.uk with your case details.

Ask for the certificate in writing, quoting your IVA reference, and check the Individual Insolvency Register to see your IVA recorded as completed.

Checking your credit file and the register

Your credit file should show your Financial Support Systems IVA as completed. Ask Experian, Equifax and TransUnion for your statutory credit report, which each must provide free, and check the IVA and the accounts it covered.

Where something is wrong, the agency must investigate and correct anything wrong; your completion certificate shows what should be recorded. A search of the Individual Insolvency Register confirms how your IVA is listed.
