Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 15 June 2026
These terms govern your use of aftermy.co.uk (the "site"). By using the site you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site.
1. Who we are
The site is operated by Payment Plan Limited (trading as AfterMy), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07286426), registered office Unit 6, Twelve O'Clock Court, 21 Attercliffe Road, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S4 7WW. Payment Plan Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 661940). AfterMy is a credit broker, not a lender.
2. What AfterMy does
We help people who have completed a debt arrangement understand their options, and we introduce them to lenders and partners — credit-builder apps, credit cards, car finance, loans and mortgage brokers. We are paid commission for those introductions, and we'll always tell you that before you decide. We do not lend, provide credit, or sell a credit-building product of our own.
3. Using the site
You may use the site for your own personal, lawful purposes. You agree not to misuse it — for example, by trying to interfere with how it works, accessing it in an unauthorised way, or using it for anything unlawful.
4. Our content is information, not advice
The guides, tools and other content on the site are general information to help you understand your options. They are not personal advice about your circumstances, your credit file, or whether a particular product is right for you, and you shouldn't treat them as such. We don't provide credit-file repair or credit information services, and we do not advise on or arrange mortgages or secured loans — where one of those might help you, we simply introduce you to a regulated mortgage broker, who handles the mortgage itself. Lenders and partners set their own criteria and make their own decisions, and you should always check their terms before you apply. Acceptance is never guaranteed.
5. Your Comeback Plan
If you complete a Credit Comeback Plan, you're giving us information so we can show you relevant options — it is not a credit application. The options we show are based on the information you give us; they are suggestions, not promises of acceptance. How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
6. Links and third parties
The site links to lenders, partners and other third-party websites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, products or terms. A link or introduction isn't a guarantee that a product is suitable for you — please read the third party's own information before you proceed.
7. Intellectual property
The content, design and branding of the site belong to Payment Plan Limited or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce or reuse them for any other purpose without our permission.
8. Availability
We work to keep the site available and up to date, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or suspend parts of it. Content may be updated at any time.
9. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law — including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability under the rules of the Financial Conduct Authority. Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss that we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for the decisions, products or services of the lenders and partners we introduce you to.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when. Please check them when you use the site.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
