Who handles your Pareto IVA and how to contact them

Your IVA letters and your Individual Insolvency Register entry name your supervisor. Whoever took on your case should have written to you when it moved. If those letters are lost, the register gives your current supervisor's firm and contact details.

  • Transfer letter or most recent annual report: gives the supervisor's name and address
  • Individual Insolvency Register: search by surname and check the entry matches your address

Getting your Pareto completion certificate

The completion certificate comes from your supervisor, once the last payment is in and the IVA has been closed. Put your request in writing with your IVA reference and keep a copy. Then look yourself up on the Individual Insolvency Register to confirm the IVA is recorded as completed.

Checking your credit file and the register

Each of the three credit reference agencies, Experian, Equifax and TransUnion, must provide your statutory credit report free. Get all three once your Pareto IVA has ended and check that the IVA shows as completed and the debts included in it are updated.

An agency must investigate and correct anything wrong, so send a copy of your completion certificate with any dispute. Check the Individual Insolvency Register under your name as well.

The IVA stays on your file for six years from its start date, or until it ends if that is later: When does an IVA leave your credit file?

What's next: your Comeback Plan

Your AfterMy Comeback Plan starts with what you tell us: the solution you completed, the dates that matter and what you want to do next. It isn't an application, and the plan itself won't affect your credit score. AfterMy has no link to Pareto Money Management. We're a credit broker, not a lender.
