Who handles your Quality Insolvency Services IVA and how to contact them

Your IVA letters and your Individual Insolvency Register entry name your supervisor. Whoever supervises your IVA now should have written to you about it. Use the contact details in your own paperwork or on the Individual Insolvency Register.

  • Search your name on the Individual Insolvency Register at gov.uk: your entry names your supervisor, their firm and how to contact them.
  • Your transfer letter or latest annual report: gives the supervisor's name and address

Getting your Quality Insolvency Services completion certificate

After your last payment, the supervisor closes the IVA and issues the completion certificate. Request it in writing with your IVA reference, and keep the letter or email. It is also worth checking the Individual Insolvency Register under your own name, to see the IVA recorded as completed.

Checking your credit file and the register

Start with your statutory credit reports: Experian, Equifax and TransUnion must each give you one free. Check that your Quality Insolvency Services IVA is marked as completed and that the debts in it reflect that.

If they don't, raise it with the agency, which must investigate and correct anything wrong, and attach your completion certificate. Look yourself up on the Individual Insolvency Register as well.

An IVA stays on your credit file for six years from the date it started, or until it ends if that is later. When does an IVA leave your credit file? explains more.

What's next: your Comeback Plan

Next comes your AfterMy Comeback Plan. Share the solution you finished, your key dates and your goals, and we take it from there. It isn't an application, and the plan itself won't affect your credit score. We're a credit broker, not a lender, and separate from Quality Insolvency Services.
