Getting your IVA Advisor completion certificate
Once the final payment has been made and your IVA has been closed, the supervisor issues your completion certificate. Ask for it in writing and quote your IVA reference, so you have a dated record. A search of your name on the Individual Insolvency Register shows whether the IVA is recorded as completed.

Start your Comeback PlanChecking your credit file and the register
Your credit file should show your IVA Advisor IVA as completed. Ask Experian, Equifax and TransUnion for your statutory credit report, which each must provide free, and check the IVA and the accounts it covered.
Where something is wrong, the agency must investigate and correct anything wrong; your completion certificate shows what should be recorded. A search of the Individual Insolvency Register confirms how your IVA is listed.
